This Privacy Policy is provided in good faith. Triule is operated by an individual based in Ontario, Canada and is not a registered company yet as the project is a beta product.

1. Who we are

Triule ("Triule", "we", "us", or "our") provides a hosted learning management platform available at triule.com and on tenant subdomains. Triule is operated by an individual based in Ontario, Canada. 2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and an encrypted (hashed) password.
  • Organization data: the organization or workspace you belong to and its settings.
  • Learning content: courses, sections, tasks, answers, and progress you or your organization create.
  • Uploaded files: videos, thumbnails, and other files you upload, stored via our content delivery provider.
  • Usage and technical data: log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages accessed, used to operate and secure the service.

3. How and why we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve the service;
  • authenticate you and keep your account and organization data secure;
  • host and deliver the content you upload;
  • communicate with you about your account and the service; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (for users in the EU/UK)

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process personal data on the basis of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Cookies and essential storage

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service, no consent banner is required, but you can block cookies in your browser at the cost of being unable to sign in.

6. Service providers

We share personal information only with the providers we rely on to run the service, and only as needed to operate it:

  • BunnyCDN: file storage and content delivery for uploaded media.
  • Cloudflare: DNS and network services.
  • Our hosting provider: application and database hosting.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. International data transfers

Triule serves users worldwide. Your information may be stored and processed in Canada, the European Union, or other countries where our providers operate. By using the service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own.

8. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting [email protected], subject to any legal retention obligations.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. These rights are recognized under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the EU/UK GDPR, among other laws. 10. Children's privacy

Triule is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may be communicated through the service.
